FAQ'S
The HFX Movement Collective is a space where instructors, practitioners, and members of our community can hold classes, programs, private practices, and workshops. This website acts as a hub to share all that the HFX Movement Collective provides. Each option on our schedule and each of our family members has their own unique offering, schedule, and payment options.

Class sign-ups and registrations are made through the individual host teacher. There is contact information within the class description (simply click on the class you'd like to attend) as well as on our Instructors page.
Most of the classes you see on our schedule are drop-in but it's best to double check if there's space before showing up.

Bikram Yoga and Ashley Boone's classes are welcome to drop-in at a suggested donation of $5 per class.

Our classes are all different prices because we have different teachers! Each teacher is welcome to ask and value their offerings as they see fit. With varying classes, workshops, sessions offered within our space, you're bound to find something to suit your budget and interests.

This depends on each teachers preferences. You will find the class descriptions and class inclusiveness by clicking on the class you wish to attend through the Calendar/Schedule.
More often than not, if a child or teen is interested, mature, and respectful of others in class, they are more than welcome. Simply reach out to your preferred teacher to ask.
Each class has it's own description and will state if the class is suitable for beginners. You can find the description by clicking on the class you'd like to attend and a small window should pop up!

Yes!
Quinpool Road and surrounding roads mostly have 2 hour free parking.
There is a large parking lot to the left of our building that is free (albeit short term) parking. You can enter from behind our building and be sure to park close to the building (Heartwood Restaurant).
No, we only have one bathroom. Sweat is sweet!
Yes! We have a few lockers as well as cubby's available to use to store your personal belongings. We lock the front doors when classes are in session or there is someone working our front desk to keep things safe :)
We have many you can borrow but it's best to bring your own!
